I've got to comment on the middle east crisis
There are so many stories and news channels, tv and web, covering what's going on over in the middle east. A lot of people are upset that the united states as well as others, individuals, are helping those in israel with humanitarian efforts. Well, it's like this. If it were you and you were stuck in the middle of a war and no way to get out, or better yet, a hurricane or sunami happens; would you want help?
Even if it's just 20 dollars and your prayers. That's what we did. If you can give just a little that's great. It will help those that are injured get the food and medicine they need to get healthier.
Here's the link to the Red Cross online for the crisis in Israel and the middle east.

Say a prayer before you go to bed tonight and hold your children and family just a little tighter. After all, it's not the toys that make the world go around. :)

I agree with you. I wish there were never any war - but that's wishful thinking. And as long as there is war, there are people who need our help - like you said, if you can't help financially, our prayers will always make a difference. We take war so lightly and it's very easy for us to say, "we shouldn't be there" or "we shouldn't help" because we are fortunate enough to be so far removed from the terror and destruction. I thank God everyday for the freedoms and safety I have and for the men and women of our armed forces who make that possible.
